Deburring is what gives our metal products the edge over others. Quite often when metal is cut or shaped, a sharp edge or burr is produced…and this can not only affect safety and appearance, it can also adversely affect the protective coatings, causing them to chip easily, particularly on sharp edges.

Being real sticklers for detail – and a certified Quality Management company –Kenro Metal place a great deal of importance on deburring, especially for meeting specs.

Radius specifications can often be an essential requirement, particularly with those involved in mines and ports; fortunately Kenro has a great deal of experience at meeting the most stringent specs.

For safety, we recommend that before any product leaves our manufacturing facility, sharp edges and dags are removed and softened, prior to applying the protective coatings…however it’s your call.
