Description
We know that the metal products or components have to arrive as and when promised – in complete working order – or it will have a ‘knock on’ effect.
A classic example of our prowess with transport was the Majura Parkway project in which we had to ship a range of metal components – including fixings – from our Toowoomba base to a construction site in Canberra spanning 11.5km.
To compound the process, everything had to be delivered in batches of pre-determined quantities to specific bridge locations within that site via scheduled deliveries, across crucial dates spanning 15 to 18 months.
Time is definitely money, so we do all we can to minimise damage or loss.
We carefully consider the weight of our metal fabrications, as well as the distance they have to travel, and loading/unloading facilities at both ends.
We then select the most cost-effective method of transport, be it truck, rail, ship or air freight…tracking the delivery wherever applicable or available.
