PROJECT OVERVIEW

The $158 million Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade is a jointly funded project by the Federal and State governments.  The project involves widening the Bruce Highway between Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road and Ramsey Creek to 4 four lanes. As a result of the upgrade, road users have seen a significant improvement in the capacity and network efficiency of the motorway. The RNA upgrade helps bring communities closer and keeps all road users safer.

Kenro worked closely with the civil contractor for the steel fabrication required.

Steelwork included:

  • Deck Drainage System
  • TMR Standard Traffic Rail
  • Balustrading
  • Cover Plates
  • Anchorages & Hold down bolts
